The New Balance 990v3 MiUSA Teddy Santis Scarlet is a modern iteration of the classic 990, designed by Teddy Santis, the creative mind behind the nostalgia-drenched menswear line Aimé Leon Dore.
Like many other 990 renditions, this rendition boasts a straightforward presentation. Its scarlet shade is visible across the base layer as it masks the pigskin suede overlays from the forefront to the rear. The suede overlays are contrasted by burgundy mesh, thin Marblehead suede overlays, and New Balance branding. This shoe’s upper is anchored by an ENCAP midsole, white towards the foot and Marblehead towards the rear, and a black rubber outsole.
