The adidas Tennis HU, designed by musician Pharrell Williams, draws inspiration from the classic white and green color combination of the adidas icon, tennis player Stan Smith. It showcases a sock-like upper made of white Primeknit material, along with an "Equality" logo heel patch in green. The sneaker also incorporates green accents on the eyelets and a white waffled EVA midsole. Notably, this shoe marks Pharrell Williams' inaugural signature silhouette in collaboration with adidas. This sneaker features thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) pellets fused together to create a midsole. This shoe also features ethylene-vinyl acetate midsoles. This sneaker comes with a white lacing system that completes its design.
At the time of its launch on May 6, 2017, the adidas Tennis HU Pharrell White Green had a manufacturer’s recommended retail value of about $140.
