The Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘07 LX Somos Familia celebrates Dia de Muertos in its vibrant colorway and its nod to Pan de Meurto, bread traditionally baked on the Mexican Day of the Dead.

The yellow canvas upper of the Somos Familia Nike Air Force 1 Low-Top ‘07 LX conjures the look of Pan de Muerto, especially with the white embroidered circles echoing the bread’s shape and circle-of-life theme. Tan canvas overlays most of the upper, while black suede adorns the heel. The white and scarlet leather Nike swoosh with oversized stitching, orange sockliner, heel striping, and red Nike branding on the tongue and heel tabs add bright hits of color to this upper, which is sewn into the black rubber cupsole with Air in the heel. This all sits atop a black rubber outsole with traction patterns of concentric circles and stars.

What we love most about this shoe is the butterfly motif on the lateral heel and insoles, which fuses the Dia de Muertos symbol of souls in flight with clever Nike branding in the corner of the graphic. The Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘07 LX Somos Familia released on October 26th, 2022 for $140 retail.
